The first step to onboarding a carrier begins with the vetting stage. We check for criteria, standards of services, confirming information, and historical information. If a carrier passes our screening process, they will receive an invitation to join our Network. We have partnered with vendors that specialize in carrier onboarding, monitoring, and compliance. With over 30 years of database information, we can confirm the identity and reliability of the carrier. In the onboarding stage, we’re checking for insurance compliance, workers’ compensation, W9, legal, etc. The onboarding phase is divided into two: the gate phase and the business rule phase. In each phase, the carrier is required to fill out the information about their company and authority. This is being monitored against 30 years of information collected on millions of carriers. We believe strongly in sourcing and pairing the right carriers with the right shippers. That is why we invest tens of thousands of dollars into modern-day technology to help with our carrier vetting, onboarding, monitoring, and compliance.
